Electronic services/e-applications on the municipality portal

The service ESO-vloge is intended for municipalities that wish to enable citizens to submit their applications also in electronic form directly from the municipality’s website or from the common ESJU state portal.

 The application contains accessories and back-end web services that enable the municipality to communicate with the e-Services state portal (ESJU) and allows it to record and store electronic applications of citizens, as an interface with custom back-end procedure and office management systems.

A system for the submission of electronic applications, intended for municipalities that wish to be included in this unified system, is accessible on the e-Service public administration state portal (ESJU). With this system citizens can submit their electronic applications on electronic forms, receive replies from municipalities and view information on the resolution of electronically submitted applications. The ESO/VLOGE service communicates with the ESJU portal through set web services of the portal.

The application verifies in determined time intervals if any new electronic applications were submitted to the municipality and if this is the case, notifies the municipality about the e-application by e-mail.   At the same time it displays the XML e-application in a format that is more suitable for viewing or printing, and posts messages for citizens on the state portal. During the resolution of a case an official may also send to the citizen, beside return messages on the ESJU portal, custom return messages in the form of SMS messages or e-messages, if the citizen provided relevant information and his/her desire for an alternative manner of notification.

The ESO/VLOGE service also contains some main office features (reviewing the application, classifying, recording, tracking the application’s cycle, changing – adding contents, archiving, etc.) and enables complementing applications with data from procedures in the municipality’s back-end system.
